Merry Christmas 2019
As I’ve already detailed in a different post, this is the absolute time of the year. There is so much to look forward to it makes me anxiously await the death of summer, which takes place way to late in the year. It delays fall and holds back winter – the two best seasons of the year. And contained in the best time of the year is found the greatest of holidays: Christmas.
Below are a couple posts referencing what I mentioned above.
Found in the best time of the year is Christmas. People feel differently about the various holidays celebrated in this country (and even some that aren’t) but statistically speaking, Christmas is HUGE. Economically, it is a shot in the arm. Financially, it can bring joy (or ruin, for that matter); physically it can be stressful (the shopping, present expectations we feel obligated to; and even being around family), and emotionally it can be simply draining. There is an increase in accidents around home, traveling increases exponentially, and it’s widely rumored to be one of the highest suicide times of the year. Others, though, find joy in this season. They find wonder, a sense of awe, and most importantly, hope.
Christmas is all of this – and so much more.
There is so much to be thankful for during this magical time of the year; I know I do. There is much for me to be thankful for and we so very often take it for granted. So, in this wonderful season, meant to revive and inspire hope, take a moment to reflect on what you have and how you can express gratefulness for it. Enjoy the moments, for they are fleeting and short. Remember the reason for the season and express gratitude in all that you do. Count your blessings and take inventory of what it really means to be truly wealthy.
Merry Christmas from The Wealthy Ironworker to you and yours.
